The Global Fund is a 21st-century partnership organization designed to accelerate the end of AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria as epidemics, Founded in 2002, the Global Fund is a partnership between governments, civil society, the private sector and people affected by the diseases. The Global Fund raises and invests nearly US$4 billion a year to support programs run by local experts in countries and communities most in need. Since 2003, the Global Fund has invested more than 1.4 billion dollars in the fight against AIDS, TB and Malaria in Nigeria.

Technical Officer – Health Informatics

Job Description
- Under the supervision of the Senior Technical Officer, Health lnformatics will be responsible for the development and implementation and supervision of all AIINi’s Electronic Information Systems at the country office, zonal and facility levels, provide technical assistance for the design and content development for electronic information systems (LAMIS, DHIS, GIS and any other FHI 360 package or database tools) used for M&E operations
- This function will include assisting the software programming team in developing actual logic statements for the coding of M&E indicators and software business rules where necessary and checking that all softwaredeveloprnent is done according to already established standards and procedures.
Minimum Recruitment Standards
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science or other relevant field with 2-5 years experience in software development, DHIS 2 configuration
- Deployment skills will be an added advantage.
- MB.BS/MPH/M.Sc or similar Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, General Statistics or Biostatistics, Health Inforrnatics ancVoron Management or M&E with 1 to 2 years relevant experience in project-level or
- state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation
- Experience working at the national level on health programs with knowledge and experience with data collection and analysis.
- Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systemsand NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.
