Chemonics seeks technical specialists for the anticipated USAID-funded Liberia Youth Activity. The program aims to strengthen youth employability in Liberia by increasing basic education, enhancing foundational skills, and improving the enabling environment for youth productivity. The five year program is expected to begin mid-2020. We are seeking program leadership and senior- and mid-level specialists in the following technical areas: education and skills development; behavior change and gender equality and social inclusion; monitoring, evaluation, and learning; human resources; accounting; grants management; and finance.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and minimum seven years of professional experience in public-private partnerships and access to finance initiatives for marginalized groups, preferably in the field on an international development program
  • Minimum five years of experience in a technical area cited above
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to productively interact with a wide range and levels of organizations that include government, the private sector, NGOs, implementing partners, and other donors
  • Work experience in Liberia
  • Experience working with USAID or other donor-funded programs preferred
  • Fluency in English
