We are seeking a Training Manager, who’s role is to provide Leadership and Management of the Bumb’Ingomso (BI) training and capacity building programmes as well as leading the design and development of the required programmes materials to ensure successful implementation.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification
  • At least 3 years’ experience in material and programme design and development
  • At least 3 years’ experience developing training programmes and intervention guidelines and tools
  • Advanced facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ability to operate professionally and effectively at all levels.
  • Experience in drafting reports and programme documents
  • Good interpersonal skills: the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, taking into account cultural and language difficulties
  • Excellent communications (oral & written English), presentation, interpersonal, networking skills, influencing and negotiating skills for engaging with a wide variety of contacts
  • Ability to communicate complex messages in an accessible manner for varied audiences
  • Good conceptual and analytical skills and ability to think and operate innovatively
  • Good administration and organisational skills and ability to optimise independent use of time against variable workload
  • Ability to work in a team, both as participant and leader
  • Ability to facilitate, maintain and manage good working relationships between staff, volunteers, partners, and donors.
  • Project and Financial Management skills
  • Flexibility to undertake national travel if required
  • Advanced computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Effective time management
  • Valid driver’s license
