Tetra Tech International Development Services headquartered in Arlington, VA, (http://www.tetratech.com/intdev), is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified Travel/Logistics Manager candidates for the USAID-funded Egypt Integrated Water Solution Support Technical Assistance Activity (IWSSTA).
The purpose of the Integrated Water Solution Support Technical Assistance (IWSSTA) activity is to support the recent reform efforts by the Government of Egypt (GOE) to help promote sustainability of the Water and Wastewater Sector.
This position will be based in Cairo, Egypt.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for ensuring the timely provision and delivery of all logistical support to the execution of IWSSTA, including project asset management, managing airport pickup and drop off, organizing meetings and workshops etc.;
* Create and maintain a staff travel tracker;
* Oversee the traveling schedules and verify the authorizations required for travels process internal travel requests;
* Maintain supporting documentation in files for all trips and collect and review supporting documentation (invoices, receipts, etc.) for travel expense reports submitted by staff and consultants;
* Assist in processing visa forms and obtaining visas from foreign embassies, and processing work permits for expat staff;
* Monitor and ensure compliance with Tetra Tech’s Travel Policy and Procedures.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree from a recognized institution;
* 3 years of experience in an equivalent position. Experience working in a similar position for an NGO or an international organization is preferred;
* Spoken and written fluency in English preferred;
* Egyptian nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
