The life changing work that Wildlands does is structured through seven programmes carried out across 12 Community Ecosystem Based Adaptation (CEBA) clusters in six provinces. Wildlands programmes are complimentary and all contribute towards its core focus of building robust ecosystems that underwrite human wellbeing and sustainable development. They are focused areas of intervention aimed at sustainable natural resource use and the development of a green economy.
Wildlands seeks to appoint a Human Resource Administrator to be based in Pietermaritzburg.
Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Human Resource and Admin Manager
- Responsible for various administration and HR functions
- Processing payrolls
- Drafting of employment contracts
- Assist with the submission of Workplace Skills Plan / ATR and Employment Equity report
- Manage disciplinary procedures and grievances processes and efficient administration of personnel files
Requirements:
- A relevant HR degree / Diploma with a minimum of three to five years’ experience in the appropriate field
- Must have VIP payroll experience
- Knowledge of BBBEE legislation is advantageous and must have own transport
- Have a strong HR and IR background
- Working knowledge of BCEA, LRA and EEA
- Computer literacy
- Organisational skills
- Analytical and decision making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to respond effectively to changing priorities
