Islamic Relief South Africa seeks looking to recruit a Marketing and Communications Manager at our head-office in Cape Town. The Communications department within Islamic Relief ensures that Islamic Relief’s brand is effectively communicated externally.
KEY COMPETENCY
- Ensuring that Islamic Relief’s image and communication are in line with systems, values and objectives of the organisation and reflect the culture of the organisation when promoting the brand amongst media platforms.
CORE DUTIES
- Develop and execute a pro-active media strategy which engages with national and regional media houses to create a strong radio, TV and online presence
- Ensure the website is fully updated to offer communication, marketing and promotion of IRSA and related activities
- Provide materials for fundraising and marketing campaigns in the form of media and marketing support
- To provide PR, Case Study and Copy Editing of all projects undertaken by the organisation.
| REQUIREMENTS |
- Degree in Communications/Media and Communications, or in similar field
- in-depth working knowledge of a range of communications media including print, online and audio-visual
- Exceptional writing skills, with attention to copy editing and the development of press releases and case studies.
