Khulisa Social Solutions seeks to appoint a Sales Development and Marketing Manager to be based in Cape Town.
This is a part time contract (24 h/week) – City Centre.
Reports to: Streetscapes Project Manager, 2017 Peers: Agri Expert, Counsellor, Operations Manager Direct reportees: Potentially interns
Salary Band: R8 000.00 with cell phone allowance of R100.00 per month
The Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy that grows Streetscapes sales and creates an enticing sales environment across Streetscapes social enterprises. The Manager also will develop a marketing plan that grows Streetscapes brand awareness through various avenues.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a sales strategy for Streetscapes social enterprises (five currently)
- Maintain and grow the relationship with existing client base
- Seek innovative opportunities to grow sales
- Creating an enticing sales environment across social enterprises
- Develop and implement a value based marketing plan to grow of the Streetscapes brand awareness (social media, events, partnerships, joint ventures)
- Engaging, nurturing and involving communities, corporates and individuals in various ways
- Demonstrating how to model the characteristics of Streetscapes motto in all duties: ‘We see how things can be. greatness in those that can’t see it in themselves, potential they don’t know they have.”
Requirements:
- Post-Matric education in Sales, Marketing or equivalent from a recognised institution
- A minimum of three years’ experience in the field: Marketing / Events / Public Relations / Social Media / Selling
- Portfolio of evidence of success: project management, delivery against targets
- Passion, energy, entrepreneurial spirit
- Creativity and innovation
- Ability to work with value based budgets
- Computer and communications skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Social media skills
- In operating in a fast pace, community environment
