Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Review and refine programme monitoring and reporting tools in line with ERC M&E system and donor requirements.
  • Coordinate all aspects of programme monitoring and reporting ensuring data is of high quality and produced on time.
  • Aggregates all monthly qualitative and quantitative data from Departments\Units Offices into ERC Report and Database respectively monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Collect articles, case studies, best practices across projects for evidence gathering and format so they are suitable for external audiences.
  • Assist in providing capacity building and coordinating in developing baselines, evaluations, and training.
  • Provide technical assistance on monitoring and data collection to field officers and volunteers.
  • Share good news stories, and case studies in coordination with Media department via social-media platforms internal and external.
  • Ensures that programme field activities and events meet minimum standards in their delivery and planning.
  • Support on documentation and dissemination of programme and M&E Information to placement communities and local stakeholders within appropriate minimum standards of quality.
  • Work closely with Departments\Units in updating the performance dashboard on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate all aspects of projects monitoring and reporting ensuring data is of high quality and produced on time.
  • Support in identifying and address challenges in the programme performance to ensure annual targets and outcomes are achieved in line with the resources available.
  • Assist in preparations of briefing papers and summary findings of reports and researches

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in the specialty.
  • Good understanding of planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting concepts and approaches
  • Proven experience of analyzing qualitative and quantitative data
  • Proven experience of writing and presenting complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate messages to a range of stakeholders across diverse cultures.
  • Experience of influencing without authority and working effectively within a matrix management structure.
  • Able to work effectively with diverse cultures and adapt personal style to get the best out of others
  • A self-starter, able to work independently and drive tasks forward to completion, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • A team player, able to work collaboratively with senior managers, consultants and a variety of other stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • The ability to work under pressure while maintaining an attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and complex work program within deadlines
  • Excellent computer literacy mainly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
