Nutrition International (NI) formerly Micronutrient Initiative, is a Canadian based International Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to improving the health and nutrition of mothers, children and adolescents. NI implements high impact and low cost nutrition interventions in Ethiopia. The vision of NI is a world where everyone, everywhere is free from malnutrition and able to reach their full potential. Currently, Nutrition International is seeking applications for Senior Monitoring and Reporting Officer to be based inAddis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The role:
The successful candidate will provide technical oversight and support to the country team in the development and implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks. The Officer will oversee program development, data quality assurance, routine monitoring of program outputs and reporting and documentation of NI’s program in all regions.
Contract Type: Fixed Term National (Seven month)
Job Requirements
What we are looking for:
A University degree in MS/MA/MPH in relevant field with more than 3 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation preferably in nutrition interventions. Possession of excellent computer skills and knowledge of statistical software packages, health information technologies including DHIS 2. Excellent communication, project management, report writing and oral presentation skills.
A full command of written and spoken English and Amharic. Proficiency in data management. Well versed with Ethiopia’s health
