About Jacobs Foundation
JF connects evidence to action, and action to systems to effect learning across contexts. The Foundation invests globally in the generation, transfer and translation of evidence on human learning and development; and locally in programs transforming education systems in selected contexts. JF aims to foster multi-stakeholder coalitions leveraging and aggregating resources, aligning public and private agendas, and increasing the knowledge, capacity, and willingness of governments, industry, schools, and social purpose organizations to jointly scale effective education policies and interventions. Specifically, the Jacobs Foundation has committed in recent years CHF 50M to the TRECC Program (Transforming Education in Cocoa Communities) in Côte d’Ivoire. TRECC is a multi- stakeholder partnership with the Ivorian government, the cocoa and chocolate industry, other foundations and civil society organisations, aiming to increase quality education in Ivory Coast. Building on this experience, JF is now seeking to expand its work into Ghana. For more information on the Côte d’Ivoire program visit: www.treccprogram.org.
