We are looking for a multitasking and motivated KP Clinical Advisor to oversee MULU KP community-based SBCC intervention to Key and Priority population of MULU KP programming by (i) implementing the Dynamic microplanning and hot spot mapping ; (ii) strengthening capacity of community agents and DIC team in conducting BCC activity and linkage to biomedical services; (iii) providing technical support to local implementing partners and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate the transfer of appropriate knowledge, skills, approaches and tools to address the HIV/STI prevention needs of the key populations iv) support the overall BCC, case finding and enhance the Index Case and Social network HIV testing in coordination with ICT coordinators.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and oversight in the design, implementation, and evaluation of HIV/STI prevention and behavior change communication interventions and HIV services to Key Populations.
- Assist the overall planning and implementation of HIV case identification through ICT/PNS, social network and targeted outreach testing.
- Support the design, implementation of HIV/STI prevention and behavior change communication interventions and HIV services to Key Populations.
- Support local implementing partners and DIC team in hot spot mapping and dynamic microplanning use.
- Actively follow the linkage of behavioral intervention to biomedical services.
- Oversee and support the implementation of BCC through Local Implementing partners (LIPs) and focal person for BCC deliverables at the regional office.
- Assist the overall planning and implementation of HIV case identification through ICT/PNS, social network and targeted outreach testing.
- Contribute to the attainment of a 100% linkage of HIV positive individuals in coordination with the local implementing partners and public health facilities.
- Be actively involved in the expansion and scale up of PrEP, HIVST, ICT and HIV recency testing and case-based surveillance.
- Support community level providers in ensuring a KP friendly services.
- Support tailored trainings to site level staff to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated HIV/STI/FP services.
- Ensure the technical capacity of local implementing partners is strengthened to implement HIV/STI prevention and behavior change communication activities.
- Ensure the delivery of standard comprehensive HIV services targeting KPP and PP in Addis Ababa.
- Facilitate hotspot mapping, and using DMP for intensive HIV case finding through ICT and SNTS testing.
- Assist in the preparation and revision of site-level microplanning.
- Provide regular mentorship support to Drop-in-Centers (DICs) in Addis Ababa.
- Oversee implementation and provide technical assistance in the form of on-the-job training, coaching, and training to LIPs on HTS and integrated services.
- Coordinate joint clinical technical review meetings, involving DICs staffs to facilitate learnings and experience sharing.
- Ensure and strengthen the referral linkage between community and facility as per the SOP.
- Ensure timely submission of weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly Semi-Annual, and annual SBCC reports per donor and PSI requirement.
- Oversee the regular data review conducted by the LIPs, provide feedback, and ensure proper use of data for making effective decisions.
- Work with the sub city health office and build rapport.
- Support the documentation and dissemination of the regional office best practices, success stories and case studies for external consumption and PSI/E central office.
- Review and analyze site level performance data, document, and disseminate lesson learned and best practices on SBCC.
Job Requirements
Background
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Nursing or related fields with six (6) years of demonstrated experience in HIV prevention, care and treatment services
OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nursing or related fields with eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in HIV prevention, care and treatment services
What would get us excited?
- Having training on HIV prevention, care and treatment services.
- Basic understanding of national HIV prevention programming targeting KP, preferably hands on HIV prevention and testing service provision, coaching and mentoring experiences.
- Experience in SBCC, clinical services and community HIV service monitoring.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other applications, Willingness to work on any assigned task
