The Norwegian Red Cross (NorCross) is part of a global network of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement (RCRC Movement) that works to provide protection and assistance to people affected by conflict and disasters. It is committed to, and bound by, the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and acts as the guardian of the Geneva Conventions.
NorCross Regional Office for Africa invites bids from suitably qualified and experienced consultancy firms for consultancy services for the strategic evaluation of the finance department and broader financial domain of the Burundi Red Cross Society (BRCS) and development of a detailed and realisable action plan with the aim of improving the financial performance of the National Society.
Bidders are expected to show evidence and experience in these kind of consultancies with competent and qualified staff to undertake the assignment. The lead consultant should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial consultancy, financial management and controls. Experience in the non-profit sector will be an added advantage.
Language of Proposal
The proposal shall be submitted in English and all email correspondences related to the proposal shall be in English.
Key personnel assigned to this project must be fluent in French since the task will be carried out in Burundi. Please note: The final reports will be required in both English and French.
One Bidder can only send one quote.
Technical and Financial offers, complete in all respects, should be received electronically and separately as per the instructions in the RFP Document by 1700Hrs EAT on 30th November 2020. Late submission will not be considered.
NorCross reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the offers without assigning any reason whatsoever and is not bound to accept the lowest bid.
