MOSAIC is focused on preventing and reducing abuse and domestic violence, particularly for women and youth living in disadvantaged communities.
Mosaic offers a range of counselling and social support services.
All programs offered are easily accessible, and designed to be culturally appropriate:
- Public awareness and education about abuse and domestic violence
- Individual, couple and family counselling for survivors and perpetrators
- Gender-sensitive counselling for victims and perpetrators
- Support groups focusing on abuse andHIV/AIDS
- Workshops about gender-based violence and related topics
- Youth and men’s programs
- Legal and human rights education
- Extra services such as accompanying clients to police stations, interpreting, referring and assisting with conflict resolution, helping with food and clothing networking, lobbying and advocacy for human rights
