As the Strategy, Programs Quality and Impact Associate Director, you will lead a high performing team to effectively capture, utilise and communicate evidence of impact. Working in collaboration with other World Vision Niger’s departments and functions, you will work across all funding streams to ensure the delivery of excellent quality programmatic work across all funding streams and successfully collect and communicate their individual and our collective impact.

You will provide quality assurance of impact across all funding streams (i.e. Child Sponsorship, Grants, Gift in Kind and Private Non-Sponsorship funded programs), measuring and communicating project level and portfolio impact. You will oversee Strategy Development & Execution and will ensure World Vision Niger’s strategy is driven by impact data, and support a pivot towards grant and corporate funding, ensuring all resource streams are used to contribute towards improved child well-being for children and adults in the communities where World Vision works and demonstrating a credible account of change.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in international development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Program Management, Business Administration, Rural Development. Master’s degree in related field will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience with a thorough understanding of all areas of project management cycles in a complex, international development organisation especially in development and Relief Projects. 5 years should have been at a managerial level.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation at a senior manager level
  • Experience in Strategy development, cascading and reporting.
  • Written and oral fluency in English and French
  • The position is based in Niamey office and will requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
