Here’s where you come in:

As Finance & Support Services Manager, you will provide overall strategic management, direction and oversight for all aspects of financial and risk management as well as support services functions in the Zonal offices of World Vision Somalia. You will be seen as a strategic partner, member of the Senior Management team and Enterprise & Risk Management Committee at the zone with a focus on promoting high levels of accountability, stewardship, coordinating planning and budgeting processes, providing accurate financial data and analysis to aid decision making for the zonal management and as well as developing financial and support services strategy that is aligned to our promise 2030 and the NO strategy.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance & Accounting or Business Administration. Master’s in Business Administration/ Finance/Accounting will be an added advantage.
  • Certification with a professional accounting body including ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, budget/cash flow forecasting and monitoring and internal accounting controls.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior finance position with medium business/large NGO/government agency
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, budget/cash flow forecasting and monitoring and internal accounting controls.
  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
  • Office-based. Travel: The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 15% of the time.
