Project Title: Arab civil society organizations working in Egypt.
Period: Approximately 12 days over the course of seven weeks. Immediate availability is required.
Date of Service: 12 March 2025 to 30 April 2025
Overview: The Local Researcher, based in Cairo or able to travel to Egypt, will lead the data collection and report writing, supported by other COAR analysts, to produce one research report requested by COAR’s client to inform the type and form of organizational support required for civil society organizations.
Objective: Contribute to COAR’s research in support of donor-funded programming
Deliverables:
- In line with COAR’s Research Terms of Reference, and under the guidance of a lead analyst, develop a quantitative methodology and suitable tools.
- Conduct Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) with Arab civil society organizations in Egypt focused on humanitarian and development assistance in the region.
- Synthesize findings into a report of 10-15 pages with clear recommendations for organizational support.
- Liaise with the COAR analysis team to clarify the provided technical inputs and draft research findings to aid in their timely integration within the overall analytic report.
- Remain available to address feedback on the draft report, as required, to enhance coherency, accuracy, and impact.
- If required, present verbal updates and briefings to COAR clients or partners.
