You are located in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Your Responsibilities

You support CHASL in implementing a sustainable non-profit business model for its central pharmacy, to ensure that member healthcare institutions have reliable access to quality-assured medicines.

In particular, your responsibilities include:

  • Actively shaping efficient supply chains and developing new international partnerships – your commitment ensures smooth supply!
  • Collaborating as part of a team to implement modern storage and management solutions, driving progress in healthcare facilities.
  • Taking responsibility: Supporting the management and development of the central pharmacy through smart financial and reporting systems.
  • Strengthening the skills and structures of member institutions together with CHASL colleagues – and growing personally in the process.
  • Further expanding CHASL’s national and international networks, intensifying cooperation with renowned organizations such as EPN, and inspiring new ideas.
  • Contributing to the implementation of innovative quality and marketing concepts that will make CHASL’s work sustainable and future-proof.
  • During regional travel (e.g., to the central pharmacy at CHAL/Liberia), you can successfully adapt and apply methods to the local context, while at the same time broadening your own experience.

Your Profile

As a professional economist with public health knowledge, or a public health professional with logistics and business administration experience, you have gained work experience in responsible positions in various contexts after your academic degree.

  • You have already successfully applied and further developed your project management expertise in your field.
  • You communicate confidently and persuasively in English, both orally and in writing, during professional exchanges.
  • With your intercultural sensitivity, you enjoy sharing knowledge and always treat those around you with respect.
  • You thrive in teamwork and bring commitment and enthusiasm to joint initiatives.
  • Even under challenging conditions, you act calmly, solution-oriented, and with a clear focus on what’s important.
  • We are looking for internationally experienced candidates. For this position, a minimum of 5 years proven working and living experience outside of Sierra Leone is required.
