Here’s where you come in:

As Project Manager – Humanitarian Food Assistance and Resilience Program, will lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of two humanitarian and resilience programmes implemented by World Vision Sudan across East and South Darfur, West Kordofan, and White Nile States. These include the General Food Assistance to Vulnerable Populations programme, funded by the US Government, and Restore Resilience in Sudan, funded by Global Affairs Canada.

You will ensure quality, timely, and accountable delivery, achievement of programme outcomes, effective resource management, stakeholder coordination, donor compliance, safeguarding, risk management, and accountability to affected populations, promoting continuous learning and sustainable impact for vulnerable communities.

(a) Strategic Programme Leadership and Delivery

You will provide strategic leadership and oversight for both programmes, translating approved proposals, workplans, and budgets into implementation plans and measurable targets. You will oversee programme start-up, staffing, partner mobilization, and operational systems, adapt implementation to changing humanitarian and security conditions, coordinate food assistance and resilience activities, and address implementation challenges through regular reviews and field visits.

(b) Grant Management and Donor Compliance

You will maintain grant management and compliance systems, oversee timely and accurate reporting and grant modifications, ensure complete documentation, and coordinate donor visits, audits, and compliance reviews.

(c) Programme Quality and Technical Oversight

You will ensure programme delivery meets technical standards, donor commitments, and humanitarian principles. You will oversee food assistance, cash assistance where approved, and resilience interventions while integrating protection, safeguarding, gender equality, disability inclusion, child well-being, and conflict sensitivity. You will ensure transparent targeting and beneficiary verification, coordinate technical teams, and promote quality improvements and innovation.

(d) Programme Quality, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL)

You will maintain quality assurance frameworks and lead MEAL planning, assessments, monitoring, evaluations, and learning activities. You will monitor indicators and data quality, use findings to improve programme implementation, document lessons and good practices, maintain knowledge management systems, review technical reports, and guide needs assessments, targeting, and intervention prioritization.

(e) Reporting, Compliance and Donor Accountability

You will ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality narrative, situation, indicator, and donor reporting. You will monitor performance against targets and milestones, strengthen staff and partner reporting systems and capacity, coordinate with MEAL teams to identify corrective actions, and respond promptly to donor requests and recommendations.

(f) Financial Management and Resource Stewardship

You will oversee programme finances, ensuring value for money and responsible use of donor resources. You will work with Finance and programme teams to manage budgets, forecasts, expenditure plans, and cash flow; review financial performance; address under-expenditure and overspending; and maintain effective controls, risk mitigation, transparency, and accountability.
