The Haven Night Shelter Welfare Organisation
The Haven Night Shelter is a registered Public Benefit Organisation in South Africa. With 15 shelters in and around Cape Town our mission is to get homeless back to a home, family and community. The Haven has more than 115 staff members and about 80 volunteers. There are many ways you can help from giving one of our residence a chance through employment or training to volunteering yourself, fundraising or simply donating.
Our organisation in short:
Vision : no one should have to live on our streets
Mission: get homeless adults back to their home, family and community.
Method : make available temporary shelter, social welfare services, family re-integration services, food, clothing, job opportunities and physical care and support to "street people" people on their way back home.
