Mission :

Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director – Programmes, you will be in charge of the overall donors activities and elaboration of donors documents in order to ensure the quality of relationship with donors and partners and the respect of reporting deadlines.

As part of this role, your missions will be to :
Contribute to the development of the mission strategy in relation with the Deputy Country RepresentativeParticipate in the research of donor funding opportunities
Contribute to the alliances and strategic partnership development, consortium building and strengthen ACF’s positioning as key humanitarian and development actor
Communicate and train about funding opportunities and donors
Participate in the drafting and preparation of concept notes and full proposals
Monitor and improve the quality of concept notes, proposals, project amendment requests, and any other official grant-related documents to be shared with the donors
Ensure Grants and reporting managementCoordinate the grants and reporting management of the CO
Ensure an internal kick off meeting takes place with all departments for each project, jointly with the CD or the technical referent
Ensure that country office staff and partners knows donors’ rules and guidelines and ACF commitments towards donors before the start of the project and organize any webinar/training if needed
Ensure all grants reporting deadlines tracking sheets are updated
Liaise with Head office Functional Manager on the grants reporting monitoring
Send out timely reminders on the grants reporting, provide reporting template to the team and ensure the review process is followed
Ensure the quality of the reporting meets the required standards and checking that narrative, financial and annex documents are consistent and aligned in terms of figures, information, etc. before submission to donors
Advise and train field teams in the preparation of documents to be prepared for donors, and internal reporting and monitoring documentsRaise awareness and training field teams on donor reporting, guidelines and compliance with both donor and ACF requirements, Project Cycle Management where necessary
Participate in the kick-off and close-out meetings in conjunction with the Head of departments, CD, Field Coordinator/s and Programme Managers to present the donor rules, reporting formats and deadlines
Organise the production and follow-up of documents for donors and internal reporting and monitoring documents

Profile :

You hold a diploma of studies related to humanities or social sciences, or other relevant fields, with an academic exposure to grants management, program management and/or monitoring and evaluation.
You have a proven experience of copy-writing and editing articles, reports and presentations, as well as a previous experience in the non-profit sector and understanding of the humanitarian coordination system.
You know well donor and institutional funding mechanisms.
You have the ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment, to work under stress and to meet tight deadlines.
You learn fast, are resourceful and able to take on a challenge and try new approaches.
You are meticulous and organised, and particularly attentive to detail.
You are a proactive team player with the ability to think and work independently.
You are an excellent communicator who shares ideas and discusses solutions, and you are also a critical thinker who identifies problems and proposes solutions.
You have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
You have a very good command of English and French, both spoken and written, and knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish languages.

Conditions d’emploi

Fixed term contract under French legislation: 12 months
Monthly gross salary from 2597 to 2968euros upon experience
Reimbursement of the pension insurance for non-French citizens: 16% of the gross monthly salary
Annual salary increase: 6% increase after and each 12 months of continuous contract
Monthly per diem and living allowance: 622euros net, field paid
Monthly country allowance: 150euros
Child allowance: 1500euros per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000euros/year)
Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
Medical coverage: ACF covers 100% of the social security, health insurance, and repatriation insurance agreement fees.
Salary sustainment measures (sickness, paternity, maternity)
Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year, airfare reimbursement with a ceiling to get to the chosen break destination, and 215 euros for each RnR period
Accompaniment and trainings: Follow-up and support for career development
