Job Title: Account Technician

Job Summary
- An Accounting Technician is responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and supporting accounting operations within an organization.
- They ensure accuracy in financial reporting, assist with budgeting, and adhere to relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
- Prepare financial reports, invoices, and statements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Maintain and update accounting software and databases.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Candidates should possess a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 0-3 years experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial principles.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Ability to analyze and reconcile accounts.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Environment:
- Office setting with standard working hours.
- May involve occasional overtime during financial reporting periods.
