The Southern African Association of Youth Clubs (SAAYC) is a nonprofit, membership organisation that works in youth development. SAAYC provides training and programme support services to youth clubs in Southern Africa.
SAAYC seeks to appoint a Centre Administrator, to be based in Soweto, Johannesburg.
Salary: R110 000 to R116 000
Reports to: Centre Manager
Gives Support to: SAAYC Projects and Programmes
Start Date: As soon as possible
The purpose of the position is to provide administrative and clerical services to ensure effective and efficient operations within the Centre.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing for Centre activities and projects (logistics, mailing list, evaluations)
- Maintain Centre equipment and coordinating repairs
- Prepare and arranging for payment of Centre requisitions
- Maintain Centre records and files
- Record monthly activities’ statistics
- Prepare and reconcile monthly petty cash and any other incoming cash
- Prepare and submit monthly reports
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
- Certificate in Office Administration
- Basic Project Management qualification would be an added advantage
- Minimum of two years’ experience in Office Administration
- Ability to develop and maintain Administrative systems
- Community mobilisation
- Presentation Skills
- Facilitation skills
- Knowledge in IT systems (applications)
- Report writing skills
- Ability to Coordinate Computer Literacy trainings
