About the role
Agency for Technical Cooperation and DevelopmentThe role works within the International Programmes role family and the wider livelihoods and Natural Resources Management unit. The role is key in providing support to Christian Aid led consortium partners in Malawi for the EU Pro-act Funded Programme to ensure effective and efficient implementation of Climate Smart Agriculture interventions. Travel to monitor and support Consortium partners is required. He/she will be part of the Pro-act Programme Management unit. The PMU is the management unit employed by Christian Aid, leading a consortium in which CARE, Eagles relief and SOLDEV are the other members.
About you You should have a master degree in a related subject. You should have good knowledge and experience of EU funded project. Good understanding of climate smart agriculture, catchment conservation and Nutrition. You must be familiar with capacity and vulnerability assessments- including participatory approaches and tools for planning. Knowledge on training to build the capacity of others and ability to guide and lead others in your area of expertise. |
