Position title: Commercialization Expert

Location: Upper Egypt

Contract Duration: 3 months, with the possibility of renewal based on performance

Contract type: Service provision contract

Commercialization Expert is required to provide technical assistance to female entrepreneurs in promoting and positioning their products and services in the market.

This technical assistance will focus on supporting the commercialization of their initiatives, including the development of innovative marketing strategies, the establishment of commercial relationships, and improving their positioning in local, national, and international markets.

Objectives of the Technical Assistance:

1. Provide technical support to emerging women entrepreneurs in Sohag to improve their commercialization and marketing strategies and enhance their capacity to establish strategic partnerships with key sector actors.

2. Assist in developing commercialization and marketing strategies tailored to the products and services of the entrepreneurs.

3. Strengthen the capacity of businesses to position their products and services in the market by identifying the most effective commercialization and distribution channels.

4. Support entrepreneurs in building commercial networks and establishing strategic alliances with key actors in the tourism sector, retailers, distributors, and strategic partners, achieving beneficial commercial agreements.

5. Enhance the entrepreneurs’ skills in using digital tools and social media to promote and sell their products and services, highlighting their added value.

Main activities:

1. Advisory on commercialization and marketing strategies.

2. Development of commercialization and marketing plans.

3. Promotion of networks and strategic alliances.

4. Continuous monitoring and support.

Expected deliverables:

1. Initial diagnostic report on the current state of commercialization strategies for

each enterprise.

2. Customized commercialization and marketing plans for the entrepreneurs.

3. Progress report on the implementation of commercialization strategies and the

development of commercial networks.

4. Final report with recommendations for the sustainability and growth of the

businesses in the local and regional tourism market.

Consultant requirements:

1. Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration, or related fields. Postgraduate education in areas related to commercialization and marketing will be valued.

2. Professional experience:

o At least 5 years of experience in commercialization and marketing plan development, particularly in advising startups or SMEs.

o Knowledge in developing positioning strategies for local, regional, and national markets.

o Experience working with the rural tourism value chain, including collaboration with local suppliers, tour operators, and rural communities, to promote sustainable product and service development.

3. Technical knowledge:

o Expertise in commercialization, marketing, and distribution strategies.

o Ability to develop promotional materials and effective marketing tools.

4. Languages:

o Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written, is essential. Spanish will be considered an asset.

5. Competences and skills:

o Strong project planning and management skills.

o Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results- oriented approach.
