INTERNATIONAL WARS AND DISASTERS VICTIMS’ PROTECTION ASSOCIATION (IRVD) is a non -governmental organization established by a group of volunteers in Syria during the crisis in 2012 and registered in the USA, Sweden, and turkey.

IRVD is implementing projects through regional offices in Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, Palestine, and Somalia.

Our work sectors are Health, Nutrition, Education, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Protection, Shelter & Non-food items, Wash and Sanitation.

IRVD also manages development projects, advocates to empower civil societies and local governance.

Job Description

IRVD is seeking a Data entry who would be responsible for coding information, troubleshooting processing errors and achieving an organization’s goals by completing the necessary tasks. Also, responsible for complying with data integrity and security policies, printing and scanning files and generating reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Recording the beneficiaries’ information and data, archiving them in paper and electronic format, and encoding files.
  • Keeping the beneficiaries’ files and placing them in a safe and protected place,
  • Submitting reports in the convenient, timely, and in format required by the information management and programs departments.
  • Must do any work requested by the technical officer and the project manager that is not contrary to the nature of the work entrusted to him.
  • Apply data program techniques and procedures.
  • Scan documents and print files, when needed.
  • Keep information confidential.

Ability to:

  • Ability to work in a stressful setting and adapt quickly to changing environments.
  • Ability to conduct work in a professional and mature manner.

Qualifications

  • Excellent proficiency in computer software (MS Office)
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in data management and databases.
  • At least two years’ experience in data collection, storage, and analysis.
  • Good English in speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Good communication skills, oral and written.
  • Good understanding of the main principles of international NGOs including accountability, impartiality, independence, cooperation, and intercultural understanding
  • High flexibility and ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.

Languages:

  • Arabic and English are mandatory (oral and written)

By these values, the IRVD enforces policies on Beneficiary Protection from Exploitation and Abuse, Child Safeguarding, Anti Workplace Harassment, Fiscal Integrity, and Anti-Retaliation and Combating Trafficking in Persons.

Promote and encourage a culture of compliance and ethics throughout IRVD. As applicable to the position, maintains a clear understanding of IRVD and donor compliance and ethics standards and adheres to those standards. Conducts work with the highest level of integrity. Communicate these values to staff and partners and require them to adhere to them.

Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within IRVD and amongst beneficiaries served by IRVD
