It operates in Oromia, Amhara, SNNP, Gambella, Beneshangul-Gumuz regions and Addis Ababa. Itsprimary goal is addressing poverty and deprivation by caring for and training street children, orphans and children from low income families. It has seven schools, three vocational centers (TVET) and a College where over 6000 children and young adults are learning and being trained.Currently, Hope Enterprises would like to invite qualified and dynamic applicants for the position of Data Quality Officer.

 Job Specification:

  • Support the preparation and review of annual and quarter work plan of the branches together with branch/area project manager.
  • Facilitate and arrange data collection formats for data collectors timely, advice data collectors to collect and submit data on time, assist TVET Head and Branch Manager in compiling Education, TVET, and School WASH data,
  • Conduct data collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of findings to the Branch Manager.
  • Prepare and submit timely the correct lists of students and trainees who enrolled at the beginning of each academic year per grade level using enrollment list format
  • Check timely recording of school and TVET resultsat the end of every academic year.
  • Produce updated children and trainees’status reportfrom the data base when requested,
  • Make a regular check in the data base System to have accurate information about school children and TVET trainees
  • Check the accuracy and consistency ofeducation, TVET and WASH data submitted quarterlyand annually to branch manager against the source documents before submitting the reports to PMEL & TVET Experts at head office.
  • Check and ensure whether the required data of TVET graduates is filled properly and accurately in the Employment Tracking System.
  • Keep safely and properly the hard and soft copies of monthly data collection formats submitted by data collectors as a source document, monthly reports, enrollment lists, quarter reports, annual outcome reports, etc.
  • Support the branch in facilitating and conducting baseline, mid-term, and terminal evaluations of the program,
  • Conduct feedback on reported data to branch staff during monthly and quarterly review meetings,

Job Requirements

Education/Qualifications:

  • A in IT and or Statistics from a recognized university or ACCA qualified

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in related field of work,

 Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft office applications
  • Strong analytical skill and good knowledge of data collection, tabulation and analysis
  • Excellent skill in monitoring, evaluating data quality and producing quality report
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in good team spirit
