About the roles

Farsight Africa Group is looking to expand its pool of local and international consultants across the full range of humanitarian and development fields with focus on the areas below:

  1. Statistics
  2. Public health Specialist
  3. Education Policy Expert
  4. Energy specialist
  5. Nutrition
  6. Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning
  7. Gender Studies
  8. Project Manager (Public Sector with PMI certificate)

The candidates should have the following minimum qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory in either of the fields indicated. Master’s degree or PhD is an added advantage.
  2. He/she should demonstrate at least 5-9 years working experience in either of the above areas
  3. Solid work experience in South Sudan and/or in the region is an added advantage
  4. Track record of research and publications on the above areas of expertise or several areas combined;
  5. Track record in developing methodology and data collection tools for research on the above areas of expertise or several areas combined;
  6. Demonstrated professional leadership and the ability to coordinate a team of professionals.
  7. Excellent written and oral communications skills in English/Somali, to deliver reports and documents;
  8. Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  9. Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with various stakeholders and to express concisely and clearly ideas and concepts
  10. Have excellent participatory and interactive skills
  11. Fluent in English. Arabic and a local language is desirable.
