Graduate Web Developer

ehealth4everyone Limited in Abuja is looking for an outstanding Web Developer who can implement functional web-based software using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other related web languages.
His/her role will be to design, build and maintain web applications. Required minimum: knowledge of Javascript – Jquery, Angular 2 and NodeJS – and any server-side language.
Responsibilities
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create web layout/user interfaces using HTML5/CSS (Boot Straps)
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation and project reports.
- Adapt emerging technologies and apply them into new software development and activities
- Train and support staff on web maintenance and management.
- Support external collaborators through maintaining web linkages, APIs and interoperability interfaces with other platforms.
- Develop and discuss web design mock ups with graphics designers, and cooperate with graphic designer to match visual design intent.
- Support the development of dashboards.
- Manage, guide and supervise the activities and outputs of colleagues and interns, as required.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Good knowledge of relational and structural databases and how to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Sound knowledge of version control tools such as git.
- Strong knowledge of web server exploits and their solutions
- Passion for best design and coding practices, and a desire to develop new interesting ideas
- Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern web development technology
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security and session management.
- Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
- Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with high quality.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Has experience in web development
- Has at least a portfolio of 1 completed web application project.
- Degree in Computer Science or any ICT related field.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Detail oriented, flexible, self-motivated and meeting deadlines.
Salary: N50, 000 per month
