MAGENTA is a leading Social and Behavioural Change (SBC) agency that specialises in understanding human decision-making processes in order to design solutions for relevant and impactful solutions to some of the most challenging problems of our time. We implement programmes across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Latin America and The Caribbean using the latest in behavioural science principles and a rigorous approach to research, strategy, campaign design and implementation.

MAGENTA’s Graphic Design team supports MAGENTA’s team in Africa, Asia, the Middle East & North Africa and Latin & Central America on a range of projects that include research, strategy development, SBC intervention implementation, and evaluation. We are looking for exceptional individuals to join this team, driven by a keen desire to deliver social impact and who thrive in fast-paced environments. An ideal candidate will have an advertising agency or graphic design studio background with focus on branding, publishing and digital. Passionate about graphic design and communication at large.

Primary responsibilities of Graphic Designer are the following (1) Delivering graphic excellence and, (2) Representation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Typical tasks include:

  1. Delivering creative excellence
  • Developing fresh and innovative branding and communications ideas for a range of public sector clients.
  • Developing regular marketing content in collaboration with the Growth and Marketing team.
  • Collaborating with the graphic designers to deliver on brief, on time, on brand identity and technically sound creative/assets.
  • Participate with team members on creative sessions to develop innovative and actionable design solutions.
  • Guardian of MAGENTA’s identity.
  1. Representation
  • Present and rationalise own ideas and design solutions to graphic designer and programme team.
  • Keep updated with graphic design and technological trends, including use of AI.
  • Passionately contribute to the creative reputation of MAGENTA!

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Education:
  • Degree in graphic design, visual/print/digital communication.
  1. Experience:
  • 3+ years professional experience in advertising or graphic design studio
  • Experienced handling graphic and communication projects from brief to production.
  • Proven creativity and awareness of current trends in advertising and graphic design to generate fresh graphic and communication ideas.
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of graphic design and Adobe creative suite. After Effects is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office 365 + used to work in an environment using SharePoint, Teams, Planner.
  • Excellence in paying attention to details and insuring branding correctness.
  • Fluency in English.
  • French, Arabic or Spanish a bonus

  • Working hours flexible with at least 5 hours overlap with Tunisia working hours
  • May involve working late and on weekend occasionally.
