The Nigerian Women Trust Fund (NWTF) was created in 2011 to increase the representation of women in Nigerian governance at all levels and address the growing concerns about the gender imbalance in elective and appointive positions. The goal of the Fund is to institutionalize access to resources for women in politics in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: ICT Consultant (Graphic Designer)

Job Summary

About the Role

  • As an ICT (Graphic Designer) Consultant, you will play a vital role in developing compelling infographics and animations to support NWTF’s programs and campaigns. You’ll work closely with the communications team to produce high-quality visual content for use across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop infographics based on NWTF’s project needs
  • Create short animations and explainer visuals
  • Support the communication team with graphics for social media, reports, and presentations

Expected Deliverables:

  • A suite of scalable, high-quality infographics and animations tailored to NWTF’s communications goals

Requirements
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience designing for social change, nonprofit, or development sectors is a plus
  • Strong commitment to NWTF’s mission, vision, and values
  • Ability to demonstrate cultural, gender, and political sensitivity
  • High standards of integrity, professionalism, and discretion

Core Competencies:

  • Excellent skills in graphic design and animation tools (e.g. Adobe Suite, Canva, After Effects)
  • Strong storytelling ability through visuals
  • Understanding of women’s rights, governance, and advocacy is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines
