About IIfPHC-E
The International Institute for Primary Health Care in Ethiopia (IIfPHC-E), which was inaugurated on February 1, 2016, is envisioned to be a world class hub to learn about Ethiopia’s experience using PHC approaches to achieve dramatic improvements in health. The Institute also strives to provide a global perspective (historical and current) of PHC experience around the world. The mission of the Institute is to proactively engage and drive the advancement of local and global primary health care policy and programing. The Institute for Primary Health Care – Ethiopia (IIfPHC-E) has developed a Resource Center (https://iifphc.org/iifphc-resource-center/) to provide information services that focus on the practical aspects of implementing PHC programs. Thus, the IIfPHC-E Resource Center has been established with the aim of supporting the mission of the Institute and assisting in the overall goal of the organization by collecting, organizing, storing and disseminating information in PHC and related fields. The Resource Center serves the Institute’s trainees, trainers, researchers, the Ministry of Health and its line Bureaus, and those involved in health program designers, and implementation. The information hub assists the professionals to improve their knowledge and to make informed choices by following new approaches and practices.
