Ethiopian Midwives Association (EMwA) was established in 1992. The primary goal of the organization is to contribute towards the reduction of maternal, neonatal, and child morbidity and mortality and improve quality of reproductive health services at the grassroots level in Ethiopia.

Ethiopian Midwives Association /EMwA/would like to invite eligible Audit Firms categorized as Grade “A” who are on the approved list of the Federal Auditor General & recognized by the Federal Charities & Societies Agency to Perform Audit activities in Ethiopia.

Job Requirements

Interested Bidders who wish to participate in the bid shall submit their proposals in the following manner:

• Originals and copies of Financial and Technical proposals shall be presented separately in different waxed envelops marked Originaland Copy on the faces of the envelopes. The 4 envelops arranged in such a manner shall be inserted in a big sealed envelope being marked by the official seal of the bidder and stating the name/ type of the bid on the face of the envelope.
• Submission of Financial and technical proposals combined /or original and copy of either of the proposals in a single envelope will result in automatic disqualification.
• Financial proposals (quotation) must disclose professional fees, VAT and other costs separately. Price offers must be submitted in local currency – Ethiopian Birr (ETB)

Technical proposals must include:-

• Renewed Business License for 2011 _C
• Professional License
• Copies of Tax Identification & Value added tax certificates.
• Evidence for  Current Tax Payment
• Evidence of Years of Experience and recommendations (if any)
• Curriculum vitae of the proposed professional(s) with supporting document

How to Apply

• Interested bidder can collect a copy of ToR and Instruction to Bidders free of charge from Reception of the association located at the address stated below within 10 days after the announcement of this bid.
• All bidders must deposit their sealed proposals in a box arranged for this purpose at the Reception of the association within 10 days starting the date of this announcement 
• The bid will be closed on the 10^thday of this announcement at 5.30 pm 
• The bid will be opened at EMwA’s office located at the address stated below on the date and time to be communicated to all bidders shortly after the close of this bid.
• Bidders and their official representatives are expected to attend the bid opening event and EMwA opens the bid at the right date and time even when only few or no bidder is attending the bid opening event.

EMwA/reserves the right to accept or reject the entire or partial part of this bid. 

Note: – The Procurement Committee will open all tender responses /bids July 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m in Ethiopian Midwives Association office.
