Fixed-term contract
Construction company in Blackheath, Cape Town seeks to employ a Junior Accounts Assistant on a fixed-term contract, February – December 2017.
Requirements:
- Relevant accounting tertiary qualification;
- At least one year’s work experience in an accounting environment;
- Good analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail;
- Excellent computer literacy skills, specifically MS Excel (intermediate level);
- Pastel Evolution would be an advantage;
- Ability to use initiative and work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will assist the Accountant with a variety of basic accounting duties, including:
- Updating and maintaining accounting system;
- Account reconciliations;
- Ad-hoc tasks.
Salary: R10,000 – R12,000 total cost to company, depending on experience.
