We are hiring a Monitoring & Evaluation Program Manager to serve with our office in Bunia, DRC. We are looking for someone to provide technical guidance and oversight for the design and implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) plans. You will provide support to field-based Program Managers and Monitoring & Evaluation Officers in the implementation of M&E plans. This role is vital to pinpointing and measuring the needs and the effectiveness of our programs. Come be part of making an eternal difference in the DRC.

A day in the life of a Monitoring & Evaluation Manager in the DRC:

In the role of Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Take the lead in development and implementation of Monitoring & Evaluation plans for the USAID-Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, World Food Program, and Samaritan’s Purse internal awards projects in eastern DRC.
  • Facilitate Program managers to develop systematic and realistic monitoring plans that capture quantitative and qualitative data for comparison against program goals and objectives.
  • Review program achievements against indicator targets with a view to strengthening reporting and decision making.
  • Organize training to build staff capacity on data collection, data management, data analysis, and report-writing techniques to ensure compliance with donor standards.
  • Lead analysis of collected data using accepted international tools.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
  • Bachelors degree in development related field preferable, Economics and Statistics with a minimum of five (5) years experience in Monitoring & Evaluation of humanitarian emergency (Agriculture & Food Security, Food Assistance, WASH, NFIs, Protection and Health & Nutrition) projects or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of project cycle management (PCM), M&E systems design and management.
  • Demonstrated ability in Data Collection, Data Management and Analysis.
  • Solid experience in program delivery and support in complex humanitarian emergency settings.
  • Strong ability to work with and relate to diverse personality types, to practice relational and ideological tolerance, and to contribute to a positive organizational culture.

Language Requirement: Fluent in English, fluency in French strongly preferred

Travel Expectations: Regular travel to Field Sites
