Nexus Programme Officer
Location: Goma, DRC
Contract: Fixed-term (2 years)
Salary: USD 33,795

CAFOD is seeking a Nexus Programme Officer to support humanitarian, early recovery, protection, livelihoods, and peacebuilding programmes in DRC. Working closely with the Deputy Country Representative and MEAL team, the role will lead programme development, implementation, monitoring, partner engagement, proposal writing, donor reporting, and stakeholder coordination in line with CAFOD’s Programme Cycle Management standards.

The postholder will manage relationships with local partners, government, donors, and networks, contribute to strategy development, oversee programme quality and accountability, and support advocacy and learning initiatives.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in humanitarian-development-peace nexus programming
  • Strong skills in programme design, MEAL, proposal development, and donor reporting
  • Experience in early recovery, livelihoods, and peacebuilding programming
  • Ability to work in insecure and rapidly changing environments
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Knowledge of the DRC context and local languages is an advantage
