Specific responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize payments based on requests
  • Collecting Accountability sheet and receipts and reconcile
  • Banking; withdraw and deposit cash
  • Prepare and pay tax obligations
  • Welcome visitors to Retrak Office
  • Preparing Performa analysis sheet and submit for approval
  • Handling all visa and immigration process for Guests and traveling staff
  • Maintaining bank balance sheet up to date
  • Work closely with Addis Ababa and site finance teams
  • Maintain supplies of stationery and other materials in consultation with staff
  • Liaise with Government officials for any inquires

Job Requirements

Qualifications:  Diploma in accounting

Experience:  At least 2 years of experience working as a finance officer, preferably in an NGO.

Skills:

  • Ability to organise and manage the office administration
  • Ability to prepare accurate and timely cash requests and payments
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work within the Christian ethos of Retrak and promote this when required
