Shout-It-Now seeks to appoint a Professional NIMART Nurse, to be based in Johannesburg.
Start date: Immediate
Salary: Negotiable
The purpose of the position is to initiate HIV positive clients onto ART as well as oversee pre-initiation screening.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate HIV positive clients onto treatment
- Dispense medication
- Oversee and conduct pre-screening tests
- Records management and reporting
- Governance and risk management
Requirements:
- Registered with the SA Nursing Council
- Certificate: Accredited Primary Health Care (PHC)
- Certificate in NIMART/ HIV/AIDS/TB management with two years’ experience
- Valid Dispensing license
- Reliable, responsible, polite and friendly
- Must speak the local languages; Fluent in English, Northern Sotho and Zulu
- Customer service skills
- Organised and task-orientated
- Self-starter who shows initiative
- Problem solving and decision-making ability
