Zakariya Nyampa Foundation (ZNF) is a growing humanitarian and development organization committed to improving the lives of the most vulnerable communities in Northeast Nigeria, with a focus on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Education Support, and Livelihood (Women and Girls empowerment), and related lifesaving interventions for the vulnerable communities. We implement impactful programs driven by evidence, community participation, and a commitment to dignity and resilience.
Founded on the principles of dignity, equity, and community participation, ZNF delivers high-impact programs that address urgent humanitarian needs while also contributing to longer-term resilience and sustainable development. We believe that access to safe water, adequate sanitation, access to Education, and essential services is a fundamental human right. In the face of the ongoing humanitarian crisis affecting the Northeast region, ZNF works to provide timely and effective support to internally displaced persons (IDPs), host communities, returnees, and other vulnerable populations.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Program Lead
Location: Jimeta, Yola, Adamawa

Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Management:
- Lead the design, planning, and implementation of ZNF’s WASH, Education, Livelihood, and cross-sectoral programs.
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure effective and timely delivery of project activities.
- Supervise and mentor program staff, volunteers, and interns.
- Promote a culture of adaptive, learning-oriented programs.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:
- Ensure quality monitoring and evaluation of all programs.
- Develop and manage tools to track progress toward project goals.
- Oversee timely and high-quality donor reports, program updates, and success stories.
Partnerships & Representation:
- Build and maintain relationships with local and international partners, government agencies, and stakeholders.
- Represent ZNF in relevant coordination meetings, clusters, and advocacy events.
- Support resource mobilization through proposal development and donor engagement.
Organizational Development:
- Contribute to ZNF’s strategic planning and organizational learning.
- Support the development of program policies, guidelines, and best practices.
- Promote innovation and new approaches within ZNF’s programming.
