It’s hard to believe that today an estimated one in ten people still don’t have clean, safe water and one in three live without adequate sanitation. The resulting diseases kill one child every minute.
WaterAid is looking for a Programme Coordinator to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene through our pilot programme in Swaziland.
Based in Mbabane and reporting to the Swaziland Team Leader, the role will be responsible for overall strategic programme planning, co-ordination, management and implementation of WaterAid Swaziland programme work in conjunction with partners.

To be successful, you need at least a University degree or a diploma in a relevant subject (social sciences, environmental health, sanitary or civil engineering, or development studies). More than five years’ experience in programme planning, development and management in a NGO setting is required, with experience in advocacy and policy influencing work being an advantage. You need to have with good knowledge of the local context.
