Project Overview: OSRA PROGRAM is a USAID funded program that started August 2022 and is schedule to end August 20227. The program addresses both the supply and demand for the RH/FP services with a focus on youth empowerment and gender equity. The project works on the national level supporting and strengthening systems in collaboration and partnership with MOHP/Population and family planning sector. The Program intervenes in 10 governorates and provide a comprehensive capacity building of service provision adopting a total market approach so addressing capacity needs of MOHP clinics, NGO owned clinics, and private sector entities including private clinics and pharmacies. The project adopts the same total market approach in creating demand where all institutions in the country are seen with potential to contribute to addressing the unplanned growth of the population and the less-than-optimal population characteristics.

Summary of Role: The program coordinator will work with senior management to provide programmatic, technical and administrative support to the OSRA program. S/he will work in close coordination with OSRA team members to support the timely and efficient implementation of project activities

Location: Egypt

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and works with staff on planning and logistics for program/project events,
  • Participates in cross-functional project teams.
  • Prepares

   reports and relevant background materials for management team and generates minutes and action items project follow up.

  Copyedits and reviews donor deliverables, including reports, work plans, highlights to USAID and

  •  presentations.
  • Responsible for communicating deliverable reminders to OSRA staff, including reports to donors and HQ, data collection, and project status updates.
  • Supports business development efforts as needed
  • Organizes and attends country meetings, retreats, and trainings as requested.
  • Lends administrative support to management to prepare presentations, conference papers and papers for publication.

Required Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably with an emphasis on international work and/or business administration or marketing)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact professionally and diplomatically
  • Excellent writing and copy-editing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member in a complex and fast paced environment.
  • Must be a self-starter and possess good judgment, flexibility, and patience..
  • Demonstrated high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with databases and website content maintenance.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to take initiative, work independently, and prioritize work flow and deadlines from multiple team members simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of different donors’ compliance and reporting systems, as well as training and capacity building.
  • Excellent command of the Arabic and English language.
