Position Title: Project Officer

Job Category: Administrative / Technical
Location: Qatar Charity – Tunisia Office

Qualifications Required:

  • Technical Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum nine (9) years of professional experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in English and the local language.
  • Excellent command of AutoCAD and equivalent engineering design software.
  • Strong experience in quantity surveying and price analysis.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling and planning tools.
  • Strong understanding of tender procedures and engineering contract preparation.
  • Ability to prepare general and specific technical specifications and contractual terms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare engineering drawings and project plans.
  2. Develop the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) with detailed price analysis.
  3. Draft comprehensive project technical specifications.
  4. Prepare the project timeline and implementation plan.
  5. Develop the project budget and cost estimates.
  6. Prepare comprehensive scheduling and time-planning documents.
  7. Submit periodic project progress reports.
  8. Supervise fieldwork, monitor performance of contractors and subcontractors, record observations, and implement adjustments when needed.
  9. Conduct quantity verification of completed work and validate contractor payment requests.
  10. Prepare site handover reports, initial acceptance, and final acceptance documentation.
