Here’s where you come in:

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for the overall monitoring and evaluation of the Global Affairs Canada (GAC) funded Fortifying Equality and Economic Diversification for Resilience (FEED) project, which focuses on improving gender equality through food security platforms in South Sudan.

You will provide leadership in designing and operationalising project assessments, monitoring frameworks, evaluations, and accountability mechanisms. Given that the project is active in seven states, there is a significant opportunity to contribute to the national evidence base of food security and livelihoods. As a member of the lead implementing agency, you will work with project managers from two sub-agreement partner agencies and oversee the coordination of reporting to ensure the inclusion of monitoring, evaluation and accountability throughout the project. You will be responsible for effectively coordinating consortium working groups for disseminating best practices and incorporating lessons learned throughout the project life.

Requirements include:

  • A Master’s Degree or higher in a related field
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in program design and development, program monitoring and evaluation, information management, capacity building, and compliance
  • At least 5 years of field experience in a relief or development environment
  • Knowledge and skills in research packages (e.g. SPSS, EPI Info, NVIVO, etc…)
  • Skills on M & E technologies- LMMS, ODK, Kobo, SMAP, GIS,
  • Experience working in Fragile contexts, preferably in South Sudan
  • Excellent written and spoken English
