About myAgro:
myAgro is a non-profit agritech social enterprise based in West Africa. We have developed a mobile savings model that allows farmers to invest their own funds in high-quality seed, fertilizer, and agricultural training to increase their harvest and income by 50-100%. About the Role:
A necessary way of scaling myAgro’s impact is through facilitating digital payment products for our customers, making it easier and faster for farmers to save towards their agricultural products. myAgro is looking for a Mobile Money Network Manager to develop partnerships with important digital payment platforms including; mobile money providers and aggregators. This new role is necessary for developing our digital payment strategy in West Africa and expanding our proportion of mobile money payments from 30% to 100% in 3 year and will report to the Director of Product.
You Will:
Strategy
- Define and promote a Regional Digital Payments strategy which increases financial inclusion and transaction volume
- Develop growth partnerships with mobile money providers across West Africa
Delivery
- Project manage all mobile money integrations
- Develop a framework for choosing and managing mobile money partners/integrations
- Lead the support and improvement plan for all existing partnerships/integrations
- Work with in-country team members on the roll-out and training for Digital Payment products
Adoption
- Create Indicators to monitor and evaluate the impact and reach of Digital Payments
- Co-design the operational strategy and customer journey for Digital Payments with field teams
- Ensure that staff members and clients can use our Digital Payment products with confidence
You Have:
- Minimum of 3 years working experience within financial services where mobile money is prevalent
- Experience handling external partnerships
- Product management experience including; user research, prioritisation, user acceptance testing, roll-outs and training
- The ability to define Indicators and create dashboards to monitor the performance and effect of digital payments
- English and French fluency, competency in any of the following languages are a plus; Wolof. Serer, Bambara and Swahili
- You can collaborate with engineering and business, problem solve, adapt to new scenarios and maintain a long-term vision
