The American Bar Association (ABA) Center for Human Rights is the ABA’s focal entity for critical human rights concerns in the United States and around the world. The Center is seeking a consultant or organization to identify arrests of journalists and citizen bloggers reporting on elections or topics relevant to the elections in Nigeria. The consultant or organization will follow up and document what happens in relevant cases (i.e. release, charges, etc), including collecting any available documents and monitoring proceedings. The consultant or organization will have overall responsibility for field-based data collection; meetings and communication with CSO/media partners and defense lawyers; and relevant logistics throughout the project period.

Bidders must submit their proposal in the format outlined in Appendices A-C of the Request for Proposals, a resume/CV or organizational profile, and a brief cover letter or statement of interest.
