PCI is seeking qualified registered IT Consultant to provide price quotations for the services detailed below:

Summary of Scope of work

• Setting up and maintaining IT systems, server, also installing, supporting, and maintaining servers or other computer systems and the organization applications.
• Assist with network and end point set up
• Plan and respond to service outages and other problems
• Back up service – either on cloud or on premises

Specific roles will include the following

•  Install and Support System LANs, Wi-Fi and network segments, Internet systems.
• Troubleshoot any Network, Hardware or Software problems reported by users.
• Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, System Smartphone’s.
• Maintain network and system security in order to make efficient use of the system.
• Install new or rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
• Make sure weekly/monthly backup operations is done by individuals ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate storage
• Update system with new version of OS and application software as needed.
• Provide specifications and advise in purchasing of new IT equipment and test and check their quality before purchase is done.
• Make sure the network is protected with the updated version of security and updated antivirus and manage firewall.
• Prepare and facilitates trainings/orientations and prepare guidelines for some system activities

 Quotation Requirements:

• Proposed service delivery date: June 1, 2020- May 31,2021 for a year, may be renewed
• Payment terms: Monthly
•  Currency: ETB

• Preferences: To the extent practicable and economically feasible, PCI prefers products and services that conserve natural resources, protect the environment and are energy efficient.
•  Submission requirements:

• • Must be submitted in hard copy on company letterhead, signed by an authorized person of the company, stamped and hand delivered in sealed envelope addressed to the address above
  • Quotes received beyond the deadline will not be considered.

• Evaluation criteria: All quotes will be evaluated based on a combination of factors such as responsiveness to PCI’s requirements, price, delivery terms, warranty, after sales services, past performance, quality, payment terms and past performance.
