Projects Clinic Consulting (PCC) is a well-established research, monitoring, and evaluation consultancy firm operating since 2019, with a primary focus on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. PCC specializes in program evaluations, labor market assessments, third-party monitoring (TPM), and socio-economic research. Leveraging a combination of on-the-ground presence and remote capabilities, PCC provides in-depth, context-driven research and assessments that guide evidence-based decision-making.
Position Summary
PCC is currently seeking M&E and Research Field Managers for short-term consultancies in Libya. These professionals will play a crucial role in supporting our ongoing and upcoming projects, including labor market assessments, socio-economic research studies, and independent monitoring assignments. Key responsibilities will include the recruitment and training of field researchers, coordinating data collection, managing logistical arrangements, ensuring compliance with local protocols, and overseeing the quality of data collection and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and mobilize field researchers and experts for data collection activities across Libya.
- Coordinate logistics for data collection, including permissions, access, and security measures where necessary.
- Supervise field teams to ensure timely and high-quality data collection.
- Translate collected data into local languages (Arabic) for accurate reporting and analysis.
- Facilitate effective communication with local stakeholders, including government entities, private sector representatives, and community organizations.
- Prepare field reports and support data management, including data coding and translation as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
PCC seeks dynamic professionals with a proven track record in field research, monitoring, and evaluation. The ideal candidate should have:
- Demonstrated experience in managing data collection and field operations, especially in challenging or remote environments.
- Strong network and relationships with local stakeholders in Libya, including government and civil society actors.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and training capabilities.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic (mandatory). Proficiency in local dialects or additional languages is a plus.
- Competency in data translation, coding, and analysis.
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic.
- Previous experience in data collection, field coordination, or research project management (highly desirable).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate complex field environments.
