Strategic Communications Project Leader
Farsight is seeking a Strategic Communications Project Leader that will be responsible for the overall implementation of client projects in the Central Africa Republic. He/She will liaise between the client in the Central African Republic, and will be responsible for ensuring coordination and provision of communication services. He/She will have to also have solid knowledge of strategic communication, and standard communication and visibility procedures in the Central African Republic and also within international institutions and organizations.
Applicant must be French Speaking from the Central African Republic
Qualifications and skills
• Hold a postgraduate university degree (Master’s level) in communications, journalism or public relations. In the absence of a degree, at least 8 years of professional experience in the current field or any other field directly related to the market may be considered.
• Excellent writing and communication skills;
• Mastery of the Microsoft office pack (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Professional experience
• A minimum of eight years of experience in the fields of communications, journalism or public relations
• At least 3 years of experience in graphic design, media solutions and communication media design;
• At least 3 years of experience in video design,
• At least 3 years of experience in managing partners with varied profiles (media, artists, service providers, distributors, broadcasters, etc.);
• Have excellent knowledge of national development contexts and communication for development (C4D type);
• Experience in organizing medium and large-scale public events.
• Experience in the management and prior implementation of communication and visibility actions in the field of development cooperation will be considered a significant asset; as well as experience in the use of innovative know-how adapted to the local context would be, particularly in the mobilization of the public.
