THE OPPORTUNITY:
Plan International Ghana is looking to secure the services of an experienced, qualified and professional to join its ranks as a Supply Chain Specialist. The role will be based on our Country Office in Accra.
ABOUT YOU:
The Supply Chain Specialist will under the direct supervision of the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Specialist will support the thematic program teams by coordinating procurement activities to ensure the timely and compliant acquisition of goods and services. This includes adhering to donor requirements and Plan International’s policies and procedures, including the Supply Chain Operations Manual, procurement guidelines, and donor agreements.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, BEHAVIORS AND EXPERIENCE:
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- A professional certification in Supply Chain Management is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role - Prior experience working with an international NGO is an asset.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires 80% of Work time within the CO and 20% of travel time on field related activities in the Program Areas.
LEVEL OF CONTACT WITH CHILDREN
Low contact– the job responsibilities of this position does not require the post holder to have any one-to-one contact with children on a daily basis.
There would be occasional contact with children and it is expected that children shall be protected at all times.
