Team Administrator

DIRECTORATE: Resource Mobilisation and Innovation Cluster

Duration: Permanent/Open ended

Location: Global Secretariat Hub Office (London, or Johannesburg)

Salary: AAI Grade B

Experienced in delivering high quality administrative support you are looking for a fresh challenge that will make the most of your skills and give you the opportunity to make a positive difference. This role with ActionAid International is the next opportunity you are looking for.

We want you to provide team administrative support and coordination while ensuring synergies and collaborative relationships are enabled with other teams and other parts of the ActionaAid family. You will also assist with the coordination of budgets, planning, reporting and maintenance of internal communications.

On a day-to-day basis you looked upon to create features for and maintain team intranet site, oversee and improve hard and soft filing systems as well as upkeep email distribution lists and process invoices. You will also help with organising meetings and manage logistics as well as with planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting activities.

Of graduate caliber, you will be the kind of person who keeps calm under pressure and has extensive experience of providing office and senior level executive support. Naturally good with people, you will have well developed communication, admin and PC skills coupled with an eye for detail. With your excellent multitasking you will also be a strong team player who is able take the initiative and prioritise work- loads when needed. Experience of working with commonly used design programmes would be an advantage.
