Main tasks:
- Guide the intervention of Ayuda en Acción (AeA) and its partners in the field of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) for the humanitarian response to those damaged by the emergency of Cyclone Kenneth and those displaced due to violence in Cabo Delgado province.
- Management and evaluation of Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programs in the humanitarian and development field.
- Technical support to partners for the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the intervention.
- Lead the team for the coordination of integrated planning and operations of the AeA and its partners in the province.
- Participate in the formulation of proposals, work plans and action schedules.
Requirements
· Masters in Public Health Engineering, Geology, Hydrology or any other area relevant to international development assistance related to WASH.
· Additional training in Health Education or Communication for Development will be an advantage.
· Five years of professional experience progressively responsible at national level and in the field, in management or technical support to WASH programs.
· At least 3 years experience of working with development organizations or humanitarian response.
· Good command of basic computing (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.).
· Communication (oral and written) in Portuguese and English. (Mandatory); Emakwua and/or Spanish will be an advantage.
